Heather Burrell
Owner & Event Coordinator
Heather Burrell launched Burrell Event Coordination February 5th, 2020. Heather grew up in Capac, MI and enjoys shopping and crafting. She graduated from Walsh College in September 2014 with a Bachelor of Business Administration & Management. Heather became a Certified Wedding Planner on June 19, 2020 through International Association of Professions Career College. Heather is also an Ordained Minister through Universal Life Church Ministries. She enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family. She resides in Almont, MI raising three beautiful children with her husband.
Heather Burrell has always had a niche for planning events. In the last 13 years she has planned various events including bridal showers, baby showers, and birthday parties. After planning her own DIY Wedding in October 2019, Heather knew it was time to launch Burrell Event Coordination.
Alana Porter
Event Coordinator
Alana attended the University of Michigan and graduated in April of 2021 with a dual-degree in Spanish and International Studies. She joined the BEC team in June of 2021 and has since used her eye for detail to make couples' wedding dreams come true!
In her free time she enjoys playing with her two cats, trying out new coffee shops, cooking with her partner Marcos, and belting to music by Taylor Swift and Lizzo.
Sarah Gullion
Event Coordinator
Sarah resides in Warren, MI with her husband and three children Emily, Aiden, and Hazel. Sarah and her husband was the first couple to have BEC coordinate their wedding in July 2020. Sarah joined BEC May 2022. Sarah LOVES anything cricut related. She would love to take on creating customized creations for you as well as coordinating your event.
Stephanie Hermiz

Stephanie resides in Warren, MI with her husband Osh. She is an aMaZing Balloon Artist and would love to add balloon art to your events. Stephanie joined BEC July 2022. She enjoys creating memories with her family and is ready to coordinate for you in order for you to do the same.

Jen Smith
Event Coordinator
Jen graduated from Capac Highschool in 2006 and began her Career as a Dental Assistant in 2008. She has a 14 year old daughter named Alexis and resides in Goodells, MI. Jen joined BEC in October 2021. When Jen is not coordinating an event you can find her at one of Alexis's sporting events (soccer, basketball, volleyball) or at a 4H event.
